The UALE Kent Wong Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy and lifetime of activism and scholarship by Kent Wong, UALE cofounder and longtime director of the UCLA Labor Center. Kent’s tireless work with community, labor, and university advocates helped build a powerful labor movement rooted in racial justice and global solidarity. This scholarship supports individuals from marginalized identities and is not limited to those employed by or affiliated with institutions of higher education or unions.
