The University of Oregon Labor Education and Research Center (LERC) has just learned that the university is planning to cut their funding by a full 68%. Most other programs at UO are facing cuts of between 2 and 10%. A 68% cut would totally gut the LERC. There is no other program in Oregon that could step in to fill the void.

Over the years, LERC has contributed mightily to the field of lebor education and research, as well as to the success of UALE. Losing it, or seeing it cut back to a shadow of its former self, would be a tragedy on a national scale, not just for Oregon.

Please help save LERC. Visit the Save LERC page on facebook to see what you can do.
