This diversity scholarship helps promising union women and/or people of color develop the leadership skills they need to be successful union leaders who will direct the labor movement into the future. Applicants must be union members and the scholarship money can be used for *any* class, seminar, convention, etc. from an *accredited* university/college/technical school. It can also be used for child care or travel to their leadership classes. Applicants can also apply to be placed in a mentoring relationship with a current union leader.
