Do you know someone who wants to be a fulltime labor educator for a powerful, innovative union? The AFSCME Department of Education and Leadership Training is hiring a Field Education Coordinator, to be based in Columbus, OH or Indianapolis, IN.

The AFSCME Education Department ignites and fuels activism and leadership by creating a culture of collaborative learning; developing members, leaders and staff as educators and change agents; and using new technologies to expand the reach of our programs. The Field Education Coordinator (FEC) is responsible for implementing this mission in assigned states. The FEC plans, designs, coordinates, and conducts education and training programs; develops program content; and works with affiliate and national union leaders and staff to develop education plans, programs, and meetings to strengthen our union and build power for working people.
Qualified candidates have 5-7 years of experience as union organizers or staff representatives and a passion for worker education.
