Join the management team of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO and take the lead in developing a political program that puts officials into office who will advance a pro-working family agenda and activates union members year-round to grow the power of the labor movement to hold elected officials accountable.

Develop and implement strategy for the MA AFL-CIO role in political elections for state offices.

Develop and implement strategy for the MA AFL-CIO participation in ballot initiatives.

Develop and implement state-wide strategy for member engagement through the LaborCAN program.

Manage the political mail process.

Identify priority targets for labor walks, phone banks, mailings, and events.

Oversee entry, retrieval, and analysis of voter data.

Assist Central Labor Councils to develop and implement an effective political program.

Work with local affiliates to develop systems for an effective endorsement process.

Manage COPE fundraising, including writing appeals, calling affiliates, and setting goals.

Track and prioritize campaign contributions and ensure full compliance with campaign finance regulations.

Serve as primary liaison with the State Democratic Party and other progressive organizations and coalitions.

Organize regular meetings of the Political Round Table to promote unity and strategic alignment in the labor movement’s political activity.
