I would like to start a discussion as to what direction we should take this group.
Should we try to create a best practices sharing site?
Organize panels for next years UALE conference?
Create a website to coordinate information?
How do we best utilize this site?
How do we recruit participants?

direction for Online Education Working Group
Yes, a "best practices" sharing site would be very welcome, perhaps on a website to coordinate information.
Also, I'd be interested in more information about how to make online education lively and interesting. So much of what I've seen is pretty boring....
Thank you for coordinating this group.

Making your online classes more exciting!
I excited about presenting at the UALE conference in New Orleans because I'll be talking about not only how to make your online classes more exciting but why it is important to make the classes interactive and how students benefit from such active engagement. My presentation, entitled "E-learning is Learning, Too" will focus on designing lectures taylored to individual learning styles. I hope you can be there. Since you're already teaching online, I'm sure you have some great ideas/feedback to share.
