The Labor Studies program of Cipriani College of Labor and Co-operative Studies builds on the disciplines of Sociology, Psychology, History, Political Science and Law to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to workers and work. Students take courses in labor history, labor law, information technology, economics, sociology, psychology and in other areas such as math, critical thinking and accounting. The aim is to prepare the student for the widest possible concern and interest of the worker. Our students pursue careers in labor unions, all levels of government and in the private sector as industrial relations officers. Cipriani College of Labor and Co-operative Studies offers: Associate of Arts Degree in Labor Studies; Associate of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management; One year Certificate in Industrial Relations (parttime); Ten-week Industrial Relations Program (full-time); an Introductory Course to Industrial Relations (40 hours); and two-day and weekend seminars
